Sharing our free & easy honeymoon experiences in Europe from 6Sept13-21Sept13- Day 4 to Day 8 in Switzerland, from Lucern to Zurich (17Sept-21Sept))

After writing about our journey in Europe for the past 10 days, i hope some readers won't find it bored. To avoid this and as we have more new products launching in our website, i will finished the Europe journey in this post as we were really busy updating our website and preparing for our first roadshow in Singapore which will be coming soon on 9 Nov 13.
During the last post, i mentioned that we have visited the Lion monument and the Mount Tiltus. The Lion Monument was a quiet enclosed place where people can take photos for remembrance of the loyalty and bravery of the Swiss. We took quite a few photos and proceed to the next destination which is the Mount Titlus. We had a small tour to follow which is arranged by the tour agency. The small tour consists of about 15 people with a local tour leader. We took a coach there and the tour leader hep us to purchase the ticket. To reach the top of the Mount Tiltus, we have to take the cable car up to half way and transfer to the big rotating cable car call the Titlis Rotair. The Titlis Rotair took us to the peak of the mountain where we could take a ride on the Chairlift Ice Flyer and walk through the Titlis Cliff Walk. Due to the weather, it was quite disappointing that the Chairlift Ice Flyer was not in operation but we were able to walk through the Titlus Cliff Walk.
Again as there were also tourists from other bigger tour group therefore we have to extra careful of the overcrowded and pushing in the Rotair cable car. We suggest people to visit the Alps on own rather than with tour group will be better as you can spend more own time there and to wait another less squeezy Rotair if you do not like to be push due to overcrowded. It is also best to visit the Alps when it is not too cloudy to capture more views of the visible Alps. Nevertheless it was a great experience to be at the top of the Alps in Switzerland. We basically stay about 2 days in each part of the Switzerland before we headed back to Singapore. On the 18th of Sep, we took train from Lucern to Zurich which is our last destination in Switzerland. Before we left Lucern, i remembered as we passed by the Reuss River on the way to the train station, we say goodbye to the lovely swans and ducks and one of the swan made a sad groan making us felt abit pity to leave the place.
In Zurich, we have visited the Swiss National Museum as our train tickets include free entry for the museums in Zurich. It was a nice museum showing the history of Switzerland. We also had a complementary trolley tour in Zurich by our tour agency where a small group of people together with us boarded a trolley bus to take us round in Zurich.
There was a recorded introduction , we could listen it using the headphones and it comes with several languages. Lastly we also self took a train to the Uetliberg to view the Top of Zurich which was included in the complementary. It was at 814m, 2671 feet. Climbing up the stairs for about 10 mins to reach the Uto Kulm Restaurant where there is a panoramic view of the entire city of Zurich and the Lake of Zurich. We did not proceed up there as it was pretty tired for me to climb the stairs with my tummy. We could still have a small view of the city at the drop off area. We also found a interesting place which is a cinema in Zurich showing Erotic show. 3 films for one entry fee. We only took pictures outside.
On the last day, we had someone to fetch us to the airport and we headed back to Singapore happily with our luggage and our experiences in Europe. Though it was only a short period of 14 days, we both find the trip was worthwhile and it motivated us that our decision to continue to grow our business was a right choice that we both have made.

Sharing our free & easy honeymoon experiences in Europe from 6Sept13-21Sept13- Day 3 in Switzerland, Interlaken to Lucern (16Sept)

On the 16th of Sep13, after having our breakfast, we quickly checked out from the hotel and headed to the train stations to proceed to Lucern.
Before we leave the Interlaken station we took some nice photos there. It took us about 2 hours to reach Lucern . From the tourists information, we took a map and heading to our hotel. Initially we nearly lost our way as we were not familiar with the road names and someone gave us the wrong direction but luckily we spotted it early and were given another good direction advise and we were there after about 10 to 15 mins walk. We reached there about 2 to 3pm therefore was able to check in immediately. After resting about ah hour, we went out for a walk near our hotel. We came to this Lucern River call the Reuss River. There was many beautiful swans & ducks in the river and as we walk pass them they will swim by to greet the people .
I walked very near to them wanting to touch them and the swan was very friendly and stood up to get closer to us. But because of the peak, i decide not to touch it but just saying hi and took some pictures of them. Some people will feed them with food and many will gather together at one place. We could also see the lakes, rivers, ancient town walls with watch towers, the Chapel Bridge and Water Tower. It was drizzling slightly but it still could not stop us from taking pictures. We also walked passed their beautiful shopping areas and went in to some of the shops to have a look. After walking for few hours we went back to the hotel to rest as the next day we will be visiting the Lion Monument & another Swiss Alps which is the Mount Titlis.

Sharing our free & easy honeymoon experiences in Europe from 6Sept13-21Sept13- Day 2 in Switzerland, Interlaken (15Sept)

On the 15th of Sep13, we woke up early as usual to have our breakfast in the hotel and quickly set off to the train station. We will be visiting the Jungfraufjou Mountain , at the Top of Europe, 3454 m an 11333 ft. We prepared ourselves with the necessary things like gloves, winter hat, winter jacket, long pants and sunglasses. In order to reach there we have to take a few transfer train . Nowadays it is very convenience for people to travel up to the mountain simply by train, we no longer have to climb mountains. When we arrived at the train station located at the mountain, we were both very excited to see and experience the snow. The temperature outside was about -2 to -3 degree at that time.We took some pictures inside first before going out to the snow as there were some nice decorations around. It was about 9 am plus when we were there as we walked outside to the top to view the beautiful mountain and snow. The mountain was only partially visible to us as it was still very cloudy in the morning and the sun was very glaring. Luckily we both brought our sunglasses and we started to play with the snow and taking pictures.
My first touch of the snow was feels like touching the ice cubes in the freezer or like those ice cubes that we ate in our desserts. This place was a small enclosed area for people to view the mountains. After having some fun, we went on to the ice cubes palace where there were many cute ice cubes sculptures. We have to be very careful and walk slowly as the floor were made of ice cubes and can be slippery if we are not careful. There were also tourists from other countries around taking photos. We took turns to take some pictures with the sculptures as we have to wait for the other tourists to move on before we can have our own pictures taken without them in the background.
After that we went to the other side of the mountain where we could enjoy sitting on the snow in a more open space area but also within a restricted area as we could only see snow and not much of the mountain are visible to us. It was snowing alittle and the temperature was not too cold too with the only basic winter wear we are wearing. The snow was slippery so my husband have to hold my hands to walk in the snow to prevent me from falling. It was really a very enjoyable moments for both of us though some tourists does not seems to be that friendly. As we do not get to see snow in Singapore, we felt like we are a child when we enjoy ourselves in the snow. It was our way to enjoy nature without feeling any restrictions. We tried not to stay close to them as afraid of them pushing and causing injury to the others. Some tourists were not so sensitive to this especially when they travel in groups. We waited for them to leave before we slowly walked back to the indoor area. There was also a place where people could play games in the snow but because i was pregnant, we did not proceed to that place.
After enjoying ourselves in the snow and taking pictures , we were both hungry. We went to look for food at the restaurant there. There was this food stall selling a rather big plate of rice with pork meat for about 20 Euro if i did not remember wrongly. The other stall was selling Indian buffet which looks nice too but was selling at 35 Euro plus , therefore we chose the 1st choice of course as it was not a good idea to eat so full at the top of the mountain. The food taste not bad with a bottle of ice tea and it was very filling for us. By the time we finish our meal it was about 4 pm already. I saw someone vomiting in the toilet and i thought i was lucky as i don't feel any discomfort at all and my baby was resting comfortably inside my tummy. My husband had a slight headache on the train ride up the mountain but was alright after awhile. As we were both tired when we reach the bottom of the mountain, we went back to our hotel to rest as the next day we will be heading to Lucern by train. This time my baby witness the snow in my tummy and when she can walk and run, we will bring her to enjoy the snow herself.

Sharing our free & easy honeymoon experiences in Europe from 6Sept13-21Sept13- Day 4 in Milan to Switzerland Interlaken Day 1 (14Sept)

On the 14th Sep13, we checkout from our hotel at about 10am and headed towards the train station as our train is leaving at 12pm. We are taking a transfer train from Milan to Spiez and from Spiez, we will transfer to another train taking us to Interlaken at Switzerland. As we were boarding the train, a guy who looked like the train conductor came offering his help to my husband to carry one of the luggage up to our seat. At first i thought wow that was so nice of him but then the moment we sat down he stretched out his hand to ask for 2 Euro dollar. My face turned black immediately and i took out some coin and passed $2 Euro coin to my husband. After the man received it, he asked for another $2 Euro and i said no. After he walked away, both of us were feeling slightly sad as the act of kindness is not voluntary which we find it weird. By just carrying the luggage up the train not even more than 5 mins and he asked for money without feeling embarrassed. When we reached Spiez, we saw beautiful scenery and started taking photos near the train station.
The transfer train took about 2 hours to reach Interlaken OST station. Our hotel is located at Interlaken West station, therefore transfer to another train for just one station and we were there. This time the hotel is quite near, it took us less than 10 mins to reach the hotel. Switzerland is a very beautiful place, on the train ride, we could see beautiful scenery of mountains, green sea, farm houses with cows, sheeps, horses and dogs. It would be very nice to have a farm house during retirement where we can have our own land with cows, sheeps, horses and even dogs. Due to the weather, the cows and sheeps there can feed themselves with the green green grass. As we walked towards our hotel, we saw people doing parachuting. I also wanted to try that one day but now with my baby i can only watch. Throughout our trip most of the hotels were 3 stars hotel which we thought it was good enough for us to just enjoyed the bathtub and to sleep well at night. Due to my pregnancy we could not go for any Spa facilities even if we had a nicer hotel to stay. We were told by the tour agency that booked this tour for us that usually if we go by the tour group, then they will be able to get very good discounted rate for better hotels as the bookings will be in a group. Most of the 3 stars hotels throughout our trip provides Free WiFi but there's one particular hotel requires payment and of course we can do without it then why do we want to pay. The 3 Stars hotels also provide basic shampoo and body soap, free usage of deposit box, all with bathtubs and hot water flask have to be requested  from the reception unless the hotel do not have enough to provide. All of them also have hair dryer in the toilet. Don't be surprised that some 4 or 5 stars hotel in certain countries do not have a hairdryer in the toilet. The water from the water flask always have some white particles even though it was stated to be safe to drink from the tap. It was really not our style to have western food and bread for every meal and luckily we brought some instant noodles to eat in the hotel room. We got no choice but to eat with the water flask water otherwise we would buy big bottles of drinks from the stalls to keep in the hotel room. After check-in , we went out for a walk as usual to explore the surroundings and nearby were many beautiful shops selling grandfather clocks, expensive watches and souvenirs.
There was one watch shop that we went in, my husband chatted with the salesperson and he told us he used to work in Singapore for 2 years before he moved to Switzerland. He introduced to us the brands that are popular in Swiss. As we looked at the price of the watches, i was thinking wow a watch can cost us a year's salary. How much does those people who can afford to buy earn a month in order for them to willing spend that much to buy a watch. To us , having a nice watch that are affordable to wear is enough as we have so much more things to pay for. If we were to spend alot also means we have to work extra hard to earn back the money that we have spend. Then we walked to the place where all the expensive hotels and restaurants were located. There was also a Casino which we did not explore. The watches, branded handbags and other stuffs nearby there were even more expensive. In the end we just sat at the park nearby and started chatting and enjoying the cold breeze. The next day we will be visiting the Jungfraujou mountain , they called the top of Europe. We bought ice-creams on our way back to the hotel and rested early.

Sharing our free & easy honeymoon experiences in Europe from 6Sept13-21Sept13- Day 3 in Milan (13Sept)

On the 13th of Sep13, as that day will be our last day in Milan , as usual we woke up around 7am , had our breakfast in the hotel restaurant and headed towards the Metro station to explore Milan. We will be taking train to Switzerland from Milan train station around 12pm on 14thSept13. As planned, we proceed to the Castello Sforzesco to explore the inside of the castle since it is one of the tourists attraction.
We only need to pay Euro 3 dollar to enter the museum inside the castle. There were quite many things to see especially those antiques of the castle that was many many years ago. There were also many portraits and sculptures. After finished exploring the castle, we took a walk at the park nearby and saw a souvenir shop. We bought some souvenirs there and continued walking in Milan's street. The weather so pretty warm , even  though there is bright sun, we were not sweating at all. We discovered there are many self-service bicycles rental spots. People could rent the bicycles by dropping money in the coin slot and returned it at the available spots. Unfortunately we both cannot cycle, therefore we still chose to walk.
Eventually we found ourselves outside the Leonardo Da Vinci Museum .
As we were curious, so we decided to go in to have a look. The tickets were sold at Euro 6.50 dollar each and there was a timing for us to enter the museum as only 30 persons were allowed to enter each time for every 15mins. As it was still early, we went to look for food at nearby restaurants. We came to this restaurant which seems to be much better than the cafe restaurant in Paris. We were seated at the more inner part of the restaurant where toilet could be access easily and it was free without any coin slot. We ordered two pastas and drinks. Later then we realized there is a difference if people only ordered drinks, as there will not be able to sit on the inside of the restaurant or perhaps access the toilet. The pastas were served with plain bread which tasted good and we saw some decorations in the restaurant with Singapore's name on it. The food were not too expensive for this restaurant. After eating we walked back to the museum and we queued in a group of about 20 people to enter. As we entered the museum, it was a big hall room with two large paintings on the wall. No photography was allowed . It was the painting of The Last Supper and The Resurrection of Jesus by Leonardo Da Vinci. There were also names of the various character in the paintings provided. After watching for 15 minutes we were told to leave the hall for the others to enter. On our way to the exit doors, there were a small pictures of the last supper for us to take photo, toilets and also souvenir shop. Both my husband and i were wondering if we have knew that it was only two paintings on the wall, would we buy tickets to enter? The answer is not sure. We continue to walk from the museum and reached a park where we saw many children playing at the play ground . We saw the boys playing football and the girls were climbing trees. Then we saw many people bringing their dogs to enjoy the sunshine in the park with their love ones and family. After awhile we were both tired and we went back to the hotel to rest. The moment we opened our hotel door , we saw some bright sunlight shining . We sat on our bed which is near the window and enjoy the moment together watching the sunset. It was so beautiful . The next day we will be taking train from Milan station to Switzerland and Interlaken was the first place we will be staying for 2 days. We were very excited as we will be visiting the Top of Europe , Jungfragjou and the Mount Titlus in Switzerland which i will be sharing later.

In my 6 months of Pregnancy

Time is moving very fast every single day, hours, minutes and seconds, and i am in my Week 25 of pregnancy now. The last time i was talking about my morning sickness improving at 4 months of pregnancy. Yes i really think i was quite fortunate so far as i do not experience much discomfort in my first and 2nd trimester. At about end of 4 months i suddenly started to gain weight by 2kg in 2weeks and i begin to feel some mild movements inside the tummy at times. My Gynae was right, people usually tend to gain weight at the beginning or ending of 2nd trimester. I started in the beginning and though only very little but for me to gain even 1 kg is really difficult ever since i was young. Then my Gynae arranged a scan for me to ensure that baby is healthy and safe to keep. This scan will usually be done between 18 weeks to 22 weeks. I went for the scan just one day before our Europe trip. During the scan we could see every little tiny parts of the baby and the person who did the scanning have to explain to us so that we could recognize the parts. During that scan we confirmed our baby is a baby girl. My husband and i saw her opening her mouth yawning at least 2 times and the doctor always say she will cross her legs. I will laugh as i know she follows me like to cross legs. To us as long as the baby is healthy we are already very blessed as a baby is a god's gift to us.
In the beginning of my pregnancy, as my husband is the eldest son and there have 3 sons in their family. To us the possibility of having a baby boy is greater than baby girl. Therefore we thought this might be a baby boy . Later when our Doctor first give us a hint that this may be a baby girl but not confirmed yet as the legs have blocked the view, i was alittle worried. I began to worried like any other woman who went through this before, thinking will my husband be disappointed? Will my in laws be disappointed and not love our baby? Luckily my husband was very encouraging and we both felt that perhaps a baby girl for the first time will be easier for me to cope with and she can help me to look after her brothers or sisters in future. As for my inlaws they seems to be happy too so i told myself my worries was not necessary. I strongly believed that the world is so big, people are free to have their own beliefs and cultures. In 2013 now, people mostly have seen, heard and learned the different cultures and beliefs in other countries and should be able to understand the importance of maintaining the fairness between man and woman. That is why god created a man and a woman in the beginning to start a new life. So why do we still bother about having a baby girl or boy when some people could not even conceive a baby. Man and woman can equally be filial , do great things and have a happy family as it all goes with the upbringing of the child, which place they were born in and how they managed their own life during their growing up. Man and woman are created uniquely each for their purpose. I personally would prefer a baby girl as she can help mummy do house works and go shopping with mummy or even sit down and have a good talk . Boys usually tends to go out with friends more often than staying at home but boys can be a good companion when daddy need someone to play football, do technical stuffs and having men's talk. But you never know it can be a reverse now. During my trip to Europe i was about 5 months pregnant and i begin to feel more movement in my tummy and i am sure it was the kicking and it becomes more frequent. Due to nice weather there, i was enjoying most of time and was able to walk quite far without feeling much discomfort. When i came back to Singapore and went to visit my Gynae, i gained another 1 kg this time and i could also see and feel the baby's kicking every day. Though many people always commented that my tummy looks small but my baby's weight was on the right track so i do not worried so much about that as i am more concern with the smooth delivery of a healthy baby . For me there is still about 4 months to go and i am sure i will gain more weight by then. Now i am beginning to have mild backaches occasionally and i expect it will be worse in later stage. My husband bought me a back massager online which we are still waiting for it to deliver to us and hopefully it can do some help. My next gynae visit will be in week 28 and by then my baby should be abt 1 kg and i hope that everything will be quite smooth like now. Thank you for spending your time to read my blogs as i do not want to forget these wonderful memories in the years to come. Do look at our website www.foraverblissful.com/shopping for our new products too. Especially the Seamless with Biocrystals products are great products that can help us to maintain a healthy body.
When i was still working 9am to 5pm that time, i could understand how many women and ladies felt after a day of work , still have to do housework or need to rush back home to spend time with family and kids. Due to that many have no time for their own and not to mention about doing exercise at gym centres or jogging in the park. We hope that these products could help in long terms and also could set as a reminder that keeping a healthy body is important, not only for beauty purpose. Sharing our free & easy honeymoon experiences in Europe from 6Sept13-21Sept13- Day 2 in Milan (12Sept)

On the 12Sept13, we woke up around 7am, had our breakfast at the hotel and went out. The breakfast for this hotel have got more variety of cakes and brownies. The normal coffee also taste not bad. This is the only hotel that we were requested to pay for tips of 5euro per day each person upon checkout. The only thing which was less convenient was we have to deposit our things at the reception before we go out as the room's deposit box was claimed to be spoiled. After breakfast we walked to the Metro to take train to coach station to take the coach that will bring us to the Fidenza Village for shopping. As it was still early when we reached there, we went to have a look at the Castello Sforzesco, the castle that many tourists will visit. We took some photos on the outside and decided to come again the next day to visit the inside of the castle as we will only be leaving Milan on 14Sept13 afternoon. On our way to the coach station, we met a guy who came shaking his hands with us & his hands were carrying some colourful strings. After saying Hi , he tied the strings to my husband's wrist and use his nailcutter to cut the string near the knot. He does the same for me too. We thought it was a gesture of welcoming the tourists. Shortly after he did that he request us to pay him some Euro money and said that the strings were already cut so we have to pay. I was shocked and my husband pretended he could not speak any of his language and we slowly moved away from him. Luckily he did not persist further as we walked quickly to the coach station. We quickly use a pair of scissor to cut off the strings in the coach station and threw them in the dustbin. As we were taking photos at the Castello Sforzesco, we found a group of them gathered there also selling other stuffs like hats. We were lucky we do not have his strings with us anymore by that time and there were many tourists around therefore they did not approached us. After finish taking photos we walked back to board the coach that will take us to the Fidenza Village. This time the journey is slightly longer as it took the coach about an hour to reach the Fidenza Village.
It was similar to the La Villee Village in Paris but there are slight difference in the brands sold at two places. We did some shoppings too with our VIP discount cards. Then we had our lunch at a cafe eating mini Pizzas and drinking smoothies. There was also some shopping outlets nearby the Fidenza Village for people to shop more. By the time we finished our shopping it was about 6 pm and we took the coach back to the coach station. We went back straight to the hotel after that and had a good rest as the next day we will be visiting the Castello Sforzesco.

Sharing our free & easy honeymoon experiences in Europe from 6Sept13-21Sept13- Day 4-5 in Paris to Milan (10 - 11 Sept) Part 2

As the check in time is still 2 hours away when we reached the hotel, we deposited our luggage at the reception and went out to find food. The streets seems to be quieter near our hotel. We walked passed a restaurant with many Chinese staffs, so we decided to try out the food. My husband ordered a set of chicken with potatoes and spaghetti and i ordered beef and potato. The drinks of course are soft drinks, no beer is allowed for me. The chicken taste like our herbal chicken while the beef is totally tasteless with no sauce added. I took a few bit only. Luckily the potatoes and spaghetti tasted fine. After the meal we went to our hotel for the check in and proceed to walk to the nearest Metro to explore Milan. The Metro train was pretty easy to follow like out MRT. The first place we visit is the Duomo station. After coming out from the train station, the first attraction that we saw is the Duomo Milan Cathedral.
It looks very beautiful on the outside and many tourists were seen taking pictures there. The sky was slightly dark when we were there but we manage to get some shots of the Church. There was a shopping centre nearby selling branded goods like Prada, Louis Vuitton..etc. We went in to have a look and the design of the bags were quite different from those in our Singapore branch. Prices is about the same range though. These boutiques closed very early also, by around 6 pm they are preparing to close. Although i was tempted to buy , but after thinking twice i did not. I actually seldom carry my branded bags or wear accessories whenever i go out. I prefer to look simple and casual. I knew it will be kept in my wardrobe for a long time if i bought it. I do love to shop for beautiful dresses as i think most woman looks nice in dresses. During this trip i did not buy another clothing as i do not know whether it will still be the correct size after my delivery. Then we saw a magnum ice-cream shop which quite a big counter and we decided to try it. Beside selling ice-cream , they also have coffee and other desserts. They make the Magnum ice-cream special by letting us chose the coating of the ice-cream and to add three types of toppings on the ice-cream.
Their toppings are very special too. My husband chose the spices toppings and the ice-cream taste spicy. Mine was abit of sweet and sour . Even though Milan was abit colder in the night compare to the morning, we do not feel very cold after eating the ice-cream. We actually felt that Paris was abit colder or windy even during the daytime. We continue to explore the surroundings and after walking for quite a long long time, we came to this Castle call the Castello Sforzesco. It was very dark but we can still see some lightings outside the castle. We will be exploring this castle on another day and we continued to stroll down the park near the castle. There was a Milano Film Festival held at the park where they had a big projector screen in the middle of the park. The movies were screened on scheduled time in Italian. People were seen drinking and chatting in the event. We stayed for awhile and we proceed to find our way back to the Metro to go back to our hotel. The Metro in Milan seems to be slightly different from Paris and similar to our MRT. Big dogs are allowed to board the train and they usually are well-behaved. They also have CCTV monitoring in the train as we can see from their tv screen located at each door, occasionally there are screening of what is happening in the train. We felt quite safe throughout the train ride as people doesn't seem to push each other in the train even in a packed train and luggage, stroller and big dog can still fit in. Nevertheless there are still some loop holes as we discovered some people did not buy train ticket but they knew how they could enter and get out of the station without the ticket. There are not many station staff seen at the control station usually and if you are lucky you can find gantry door not locked. Whenever we came out from the Metro station in the night to walk back to the hotel, i always felt very cold because of the strong wind at night. Luckily we always prepared ourself with extra jacket in our bags. As we walked back to the hotel, we saw a bus transformed into a stall selling nice smell food.
We bought a burger from the stall and we quickly walked back to our hotel as it was rather quiet on the street at about 10pm. I also realized the woman usually wear a pant underneath the dress to protect themselves from the cold wind and perhaps for safety reason too. That night , we had our supper, a great bathtub shower and a goodnight sleep. The next day we will be going to the Fidenza Village for shopping again.

Sharing our free & easy honeymoon experiences in Europe from 6Sept13-21Sept13- Day 4-5 in Paris to Milan (10 - 11 Sept) Part 1

On the 10Sept13, as it was our last day in Paris, we decided to wake up slightly later, have our breakfast and go for a walk nearby our hotel. After breakfast, we went back to packed our things to our luggage and proceed to check out. We left our luggage at the lobby and went out for a walk near the hotel. We walked passed a small wet market and went in to have a look. They have a few stalls selling fruits, a stall selling different types of cheeze, bacons, hams..etc. There was flourists, seafood stalls selling fresh seafood and fishes. I saw the peaches looked nice and bought a few to try. It was quite juicy and sweet. Then we passed by a boutique shop selling men's suit. My husband bought a set of suit as he thinks the price is reasonable and the material and design of the suit was suitable for him. The salesman was very friendly and helpful and he was able to recognize us as Singaporeans. We even ask for alittle discount from him without much problem. After finished our last shopping, we walked back to our hotel to collect our luggage and headed towards the train station.
As this was our first time taking a overnight train, we were not aware that there was no food available on the train. We boarded the train about 7pm and reached our destination around 8am plus as the train was delayed. We were supposed to arrived at 6am. As we boarded the train, we chatted with a couple from UK who was having their honeymoon like us. The woman told us they were only able to have it now 40 years after their marriage as when they were younger both of them were teachers in Singapore school. They have a daughter and a son who both grew up in Singapore. They have stayed in Singapore for about 7 to 8 years before they moved on to UK. Now they are both retired and their children were working in other countries. We chatted about 2 hours and then we all decided to tuck in early. The toilet on the train in our cabin was pretty clean and nearby. Both of the men did not climb up to the upper deck bed to sleep as it seems to be quite dangerous as there was no handle at the side of the bed. Therefore my husband slept sitting upright the whole night and he let me sleep on his laps lying down on the lower deck bed. The couple also find their ways to stretch out their legs and slept on the lower deck bed too.  I was able to sleep quite well without feeling much hungry or thirsty. My husband was having backaches in the morning but was still pretty awake. We took some photos in the train for memories. We gave the couple our name card and they gave us their email to keep in touch. We forgot to take a picture with them. The man help us to carry our luggage down the train and we parted from there as they were still taking the train to head for their destination.
As we reached the train station Milano Centrale, we went to ask around how we can change to another train to reach to the nearest train station to our hotel. To our disappointment, the staffs at the station were not very helpful and mostly could not speak English. When asked the same questions, they provided different answers. In the end, we do not bother and we just use our train ticket to board the transfer train. Luckily due to my smart husband we found our way to the nearest train station near our hotel though it tool us at least two times of transfer. We managed to took some sandwiches and drinks in the train station via their vending machines. Carrying those luggages to take train is quite troublesome as my husband need to carry mine too and also at the same time making sure i am boarding safely with him as it was quite packed in the trains on a weekday morning. When we reached the train station, we have to walk a fair bit of distance to reach our hotel and we managed to find the hotel by looking at the map and asking a few helpful people. I will continue to share in part 2 what happened and where we have been after we checked in to the hotel.

Sharing our free & easy honeymoon experiences in Europe from 6Sept13-21Sept13- Day 3 in Paris (9 Sept)

On the 9Sept13, we have arrangement to visit the La Villee Village for shopping. We took Metro to the coach station to wait for the coach that will bring us there. We were at the coach station about 9am and by 10am we were on our way there. It took about 45 mins to reach the destination.
The La Vallee Village is quite similar to our Malaysia's Johor Premium Outlets except for the different currencies used and different kinds of branded shops. Near to the La Ville Village was a relatively big shopping centre for people to shop more for non-branded stuffs & to enjoy the food there. As we have booked this shopping tour from the tour agency, we were given a VIP discount card each to use in our 3 favorite shops. It seems to be slightly cheaper after the discount, therefore my husband & i did some shopping. As we have another shopping tour in Milan which is similar, we did not really shop alot here. Though we did not shop alot but walking the whole place which include the shopping centre took us almost a full day. By 6pm we have to take the coach arranged for us to bring us back to the coach station. I remembered we took subway as our lunch there as we it was the most appealing food to me. As we were both quite tired after a day of walking and shopping, we went back to our hotel to rest straight after that.

Sharing our free & easy honeymoon experiences in Europe from 6Sept13-21Sept13- Day 2 in Paris (8Sept)

On the 8th of Sept, our second day in Paris, we woke up around 6am to have breakfast at the hotel basement. It was a cosy restaurant situated in the basement. Though it was not a very big hotel, we enjoyed our breakfast. There were scrambled egg, hams, cheese, cereals, few kinds of bread, yogurt, fruits, coffee, tea & milk. I don't even eat so much for breakfast in Singapore. After breakfast we headed off to the nearest Metro to meet out Taiwan Bridal makeup artist & photographer who rented an apartment at the Chinatown area in Paris. It was like about 20 stations away from our hotel. This time the train was still not that packed because it's a sunday. According to our driver who send us to the hotel, Sunday is a non working day for Paris unless of course for food industry. Again the train was pretty smooth & within 30 mins we have reached our destination. Even though the train was not that packed but the seats of the cabin that we have boarded were full. To my surprised, a gentleman stood up & offer his seat for me. Many people did not noticed i am pregnant ever since i got pregnant in Singapore but people noticed it when i was in oversea. as we enjoy our travelling in the metro , we also noticed people sleeping at the metro stations & sometimes there will be people coming in to the train to ask for money. There were vending machines selling tibits, sandwiches, drinks & coffee and also water cooler available in most of the metro stations. Before we noticed, we have arrived at our destination.
Our photographer was waiting for us at nearby and brought us to their apartment. The apartment was quite well equipped especially the kitchen, with oven and toaster. About 2 hours of makeup & dressing up, we headed out for our photography in their rented 6 to 7 seater car. We were quite lucky that day as the weather was pretty good. In the morning shoot, even though i was wearing gown without any jacket, i did not feel very cold. There was occasional bright sun with no rain at all. Along the way on our photoshooting, we met a few wedding couples taking their wedding shots too. We believe most of them are french. At some point of the shooting, we also feel like we are like "superstars" as there were many tourists around start taking pictures of us using their camera. It was quite a memorable moment for us. There was one time we went to a Chinese restaurant to change gown & hairstyle and there was once we did it in public on a pretty quiet street of course. By around 5 pm, both of us were quite exhausted but we wanted some night shots and so the photography crew brought us to a cafe restaurant to have a cup of coffee and to rest. We bought a cup of coffee and rested  in the restaurant. As i walked to the cafe restaurant's toilet, i was surprised that the doors were locked and there was a coin slot at the door. A french lady came out of the toilet & when she saw me waiting for the toilet, she quickly shut the toilet door and ordered me to put coin in the door slot. Her gesture cause my urge to turn to unhappiness. It was our first encounter with restaurant not allowing customer to use their toilets and the lady made it worse. Therefore my husband and i went out to look for free toilet along the river side as we remember walking pass on the other day. I was not willing to put in my coins for that particular toilet due to that lady's & the cafe restaurant's staffs' behavior. By the time we came back it was almost 7.30pm, we headed towards the Louvre Museum to take our night shots. In Paris, the sky will usually be complete darkness around 8.30pm onwards. By that time, there was very strong wind and the temperature begin to decrease compare to the afternoon. There were other wedding couples there to take their night shots too. As i was only wearing a night gown where the shoulders were not covered with any cloth at all, my husband had to occasionally removed his jacket for me to put on. After taking for about 30mins, we left and went to a underground carpark to get change to our own clothes. As i was pregnant i did not want to be shivering for too long. After that, the photography team drop us at the nearest Metro station & we took the Metro back to our hotel. When we reach our hotel, we have a great bath & rested early as we have planned to visit the La Ville Village the next day.
