After writing about our journey in Europe for the past 10 days, i hope some readers won't find it bored. To avoid this and as we have more new products launching in our website, i will finished the Europe journey in this post as we were really busy updating our website and preparing for our first roadshow in Singapore which will be coming soon on 9 Nov 13.
During the last post, i mentioned that we have visited the Lion monument and the Mount Tiltus. The Lion Monument was a quiet enclosed place where people can take photos for remembrance of the loyalty and bravery of the Swiss. We took quite a few photos and proceed to the next destination which is the Mount Titlus. We had a small tour to follow which is arranged by the tour agency. The small tour consists of about 15 people with a local tour leader. We took a coach there and the tour leader hep us to purchase the ticket. To reach the top of the Mount Tiltus, we have to take the cable car up to half way and transfer to the big rotating cable car call the Titlis Rotair. The Titlis Rotair took us to the peak of the mountain where we could take a ride on the Chairlift Ice Flyer and walk through the Titlis Cliff Walk. Due to the weather, it was quite disappointing that the Chairlift Ice Flyer was not in operation but we were able to walk through the Titlus Cliff Walk.
Again as there were also tourists from other bigger tour group therefore we have to extra careful of the overcrowded and pushing in the Rotair cable car. We suggest people to visit the Alps on own rather than with tour group will be better as you can spend more own time there and to wait another less squeezy Rotair if you do not like to be push due to overcrowded. It is also best to visit the Alps when it is not too cloudy to capture more views of the visible Alps. Nevertheless it was a great experience to be at the top of the Alps in Switzerland. We basically stay about 2 days in each part of the Switzerland before we headed back to Singapore. On the 18th of Sep, we took train from Lucern to Zurich which is our last destination in Switzerland. Before we left Lucern, i remembered as we passed by the Reuss River on the way to the train station, we say goodbye to the lovely swans and ducks and one of the swan made a sad groan making us felt abit pity to leave the place.
In Zurich, we have visited the Swiss National Museum as our train tickets include free entry for the museums in Zurich. It was a nice museum showing the history of Switzerland. We also had a complementary trolley tour in Zurich by our tour agency where a small group of people together with us boarded a trolley bus to take us round in Zurich.
There was a recorded introduction , we could listen it using the headphones and it comes with several languages. Lastly we also self took a train to the Uetliberg to view the Top of Zurich which was included in the complementary. It was at 814m, 2671 feet. Climbing up the stairs for about 10 mins to reach the Uto Kulm Restaurant where there is a panoramic view of the entire city of Zurich and the Lake of Zurich. We did not proceed up there as it was pretty tired for me to climb the stairs with my tummy. We could still have a small view of the city at the drop off area. We also found a interesting place which is a cinema in Zurich showing Erotic show. 3 films for one entry fee. We only took pictures outside.
On the last day, we had someone to fetch us to the airport and we headed back to Singapore happily with our luggage and our experiences in Europe. Though it was only a short period of 14 days, we both find the trip was worthwhile and it motivated us that our decision to continue to grow our business was a right choice that we both have made.
